Alan Katz is the author of several humorous adults' and children's book, and has written for television and print media. He lives in Connecticut with his wife and four children. Michael Slack is an artist, character designer and occasional animator. His illustrations have appeared in numerous publications including Time and The New York Times, and he has designed characters for the UK companies Aardman Animation (creators of Wallace and Gromit) and Passion Pictures.
