About our Company
Bookshop Krisostomus has been established in 1992 and since then we have been active as a major importer of foreign language books to Estonia, and Latvia, but we can deliver books to other countries as well.
On this website you can search for books in English, German and Russian, but it is possible to order Italian, Finnish etc. books as well. Please send us an e-mail with book details and we will contact you. Ordered books will arrive in about 2-6 weeks to our office and then the books will be delivered to your address.
About the prices
Over the years we have developed a direct relations with most of the world's largest publishing houses, and therefore we can offer our customers a very flexible terms. Generally the prices on our website are publihsers' catalogue prices to which we add VAT (if you are ordering from EU and you have valid EU VAT number we can supply the books to you without VAT). We also offer a wide range of books at reduced prices (see Special Offers ). Since we also offer used books, then for these we will send you an exact price after receiving your order.
About Shipping
In collaboration with foreign and domestic logistic companies, we have consistently sought to reduce the transit time. Now, if a book is in stock by the publisher it should arrive in our office in about 2 weeks. Books will be send to you either by courier or by regular mail (free in Estonia and Latvia). If you want the books to arrive very quickly it can be ordered with courier from the publisher, but then will be applied additional charge for this.
About the Payment
When you are ordering books from us you don't have to pay in advance i.e. you have to pay only when the books have arrived to our office. (You can supply your credit card details, but we will not charge the card until we will ship the books to you). We will notify you by e-mail when the books have arrived. It is possible to pay by bank transfer or with credit card. If you are ordering books for institution, we will send you the books with invoice i.e. you can pay after receipt of the books.
About the Exhibitions
If your school, library, faculty, or the company would like to see the books in the area you are active in, please let us know. We can put together a selection of recent literature and will bring it to you for approval. Later, you let us know what you want to buy and what you would like to return. There is no obligation to buy the books. Usually such offers are also with discounted prices. In addition we also attend with exhibitions on several conferences.
About the Discounts
We offer 10% discount to ISIC and ITIC card owners, 10% discounts to libraries and resellers. We can also agree on bigger discount on large orders.
