Bettina Liverant is an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of History, University of Calgary. Bettinas research is situated at the intersection of commerce and culture. She has written extensively on Canadian consumer society, corporate philanthropy, and Canadian architecture, including Buying Happiness: The Emergence of Consumer Consciousness in English Canada.
