Prof. (Dr.) Abhishek Swaroop completed his B.Tech. (CSE) from GBP University of Agriculture & Technology, M.Tech. from Punjabi University Patiala, and Ph.D. from NIT Kurukshetra. He has industrial experience of 8 years in organisations like Usha Rectifier Corporations and Envirotech Instruments Pvt. Limited. He has 22 years of teaching experience. He has served in reputed educational institutions such as Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida, Sharda University Greater Noida, and Galgotias University Greater Noida. He has served at various administrative positions such as Head of the Department, Division Chair, and NBA Coordinator for the university. Currently, he is serving as Professor and HoD of Department of Information Technology in Bhagwan Parshuram Institute of Technology, Rohini, Delhi. He is actively engaged in research. He has more than 70 quality publications out of which 10 are SCI and 25 are Scopus indexed. He was Convener of recently organized national conference NCCIN-2K18.
Prof. Sérgio D. Correia received his diploma in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Coimbra, Portugal, in 2000, the master's degree in industrial control and maintenance systems from Beira Interior University, Covilhã, Portugal, in 2010, and the Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Coimbra, Portugal, in 2020. Currently, he is Associate Professor at the Portalegre Polytechnic University, Portugal. He is also Researcher at COPELABSCognitive and People-centric Computing Research Center, Lusofona University of Humanities and Technologies, Lisbon, Portugal, and VALORIZAResearch Center for Endogenous Resource Valorization, Portalegre Polytechnic University, Portalegre, Portugal, and has worked with several private companies for more than 20 years. His current research interests are embedded artificial intelligence, soft computing, signal processing, embedded systems, and computer architecture, topics on which he is Editor of several scientific journals, Collaborator at several international conferences, and Guest Professor at several European universities.
Prof. Bal Virdee graduated with a B.Sc. (engineering) Honours in communication engineering and M.Phil. from Leeds University, UK. He obtained his Ph.D. from University of North London, UK. He was worked as Academic at Open University and Leeds University. Prior to this, he was Research and Development Electronic Engineer in the Future Products Dept. at Teledyne Defence (formerly Filtronic Components Ltd., Shipley, West Yorkshire) and at PYE TVT (Philips) in Cambridge. He has held numerous duties and responsibilities at the university, i.e.: Health and Safety Officer, Postgraduate Tutor, Examinations Officer, Admissions Tutor, Short Course Organiser, Course Leader for M.Sc./M.Eng. satellite communications, B.Sc. communications systems, and B.Sc. electronics. In 2010, he was appointed as Academic Leader (UG recruitment). He is Member of ethical committee, school's research committee, and research degrees committee.
Prof. Jan Valíek is currently Professor at the Institute of Technology and Business in eské Budjovice, Czech Republic, since 2018. His previous roles include serving as Dean of the Faculty of Mining and Geology at VB-TU Ostrava (2017-2018), heading the Institute of Physics at VB-TU Ostrava (2015-2016), and being Dean for Science, Research, and Foreign Relations at the same institution (2014-2016). He has also been Researcher at the Institute of Geonics as CR in Ostrava (2008-2014), Associate Professor (2008-2018), and Lecturer (2003-2008) at the Institute of Physics, VB-TU Ostrava. Valíek holds a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering (2004) and an Ing. (M.Sc.) in mining and geology (2002), both from VB-TU Ostrava. His applied research includes developing contactless surface topography measurement methods and methodologies for determining mechanical equivalents of materials. Notable projects include the synthesis and study of nanomaterials, topography measurement of surfaces, and education systems for surface engineering.
