Inspired by everything from cloud-gazing to cat fleas, FRESH is a lively collection of poems for children, exploring starting over, nature, expressing your feelings and kindness. There is plenty of fun stuff , but poems also touch on subjects such as shifting friendships, sadness and coping with worry. With gorgeous illustrations from former Childrens Laureate, Chris Riddell, this is a wonderful and heart-warming first collection.
