The Heroes of Honeysuckle Farm dives into the lives of animals and humans who are way more connected than you'd think. As strange things start happening around them, both groups deal with drama, power struggles, and tough choices between right and wrong. Some feel totally alone, unsure where they fit in but through real friendships and unexpected bonds, they start to figure it out. Its a tale of self-discovery and wonder, where joy and sorrow dance hand in hand, and the greatest magic of all might just be finding your place in the world.
David Fraser was educated at the London School of Economics and Political Science and at the University of Bristol. He worked in industry for four years; this was followed by a short period as a teacher. He then joined the Probation Service and for twenty-seven years worked in a variety of magistrates courts and prisons in London and the Southwest. His last employment was with the National Criminal Intelligence Service (now the National Crime Agency) where he worked for ten years as a Criminal Intelligence Analyst.  He has written and lectured extensively about crime, sentencing and justice in the UK and in New Zealand. His first book, A Land Fit for Criminals was recommended for the George Orwell Prize in Literature.  Over the last five years he has turned to writing stories for children and young people. The Heroes of Honeysuckle Farm was inspired by his personal connection with Australia; by real events and the stories of others brought back from their travels.  He is married and lives with his wife in the West Country. He has two adult children and two grandchildren.
