June Jamrich Parsons is an educator, digital book pioneer, co-author of Texty and McGuffey award-winning textbooks and a TAA fellow. She co-developed the first commercially successful multimedia, interactive digital textbook that established the standard for platforms now being developed by numerous educational publishers. In addition to authoring textbooks for Course Technology and Cengage, Dr. Parsons' career includes extensive classroom teaching and product design for eCourseware. She also served as a creative strategist for MediaTechnics Corp. and director of content for Veative Virtual Reality Labs. A member of the Association for Computing Machinery, she holds a Ph.D. in instructional technology and Certified Computing Professional certification. An expert in applied technology, Beskeen has extensive teaching and consulting experience in today's computer technology. Carol M. Cram is the author of more than 35 textbooks on computer applications, business communications and Internet-related subjects. Ms. Cram was also a long-time faculty member at Capilano College in North Vancouver, where she served as the Convenor of the Executive Support Program and the Program Consultant for Business and Computers in Continuing Education as well as instructor of business and computer-related courses. NA Lisa Friedrichsen is a professor at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, Kansas, where she teaches database and web development classes. She also has written several prominent Access, Office and web-related textbooks. Friedrichsen spent a decade at IBM Corp. before becoming a consultant, author and college professor. Combining her extensive industry experience with her passion for teaching, she creates clear, practical presentations. She earned a B.S. in engineering from Iowa State University and an MBA from Drake University. Ms. Elizabeth Eisner Reding has authored numerous books for Delmar and Course Technology on a variety of software programs, including Adobe® Photoshop, Microsoft® Office, and Microsoft® Publisher. Living in New Mexico with her husband, Ms. Reding spends her free time grilling, water gardening, road and mountain biking, and collecting Southwestern art.
