Based on the foundational theories and methods of Paolo J. Knill, this book seeks to be a useful tool for both practitioners and students. The author, Judith Greer Essex, draws on fifty years of experience in academia and private practice and provides a thorough analysis of the therapeutic applications of expressive arts. The book presents an accessible summary of Knill's most essential and complex theories, making them more immediately understandable to students and professionals alike.

Mastering the Practice of Expressive Arts Therapy is a treasure trove for the emerging generation of practitioners who will become leaders in the field.
