About the Author
Kristin White is an educational consultant who helps students evaluate boarding schools, colleges, and other educational opportunities while also helping them navigate the admissions process. Her educational consulting firm, Brightbridge Advisors, works with students from all over the world. Kristin is also the director of high school counseling at a private school in Greenwich, Connecticut, and a member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association. She is the author of The Complete Guide to the Gap Year: The Best Things to Do Between High School and College and It's the Student, Not the College: The Secrets of Succeeding at Any College Without Going Broke or Crazy.
