The rise of generative AI presents both a challenge and an opportunity for educators, particularly English teachers. Teach English with AI: A Practical Guide offers practical guidance for navigating a rapidly evolving landscape, moving beyond the fear and scepticism to embrace AI as a tool for enhancing teaching and learning.

In a world where AI skills are increasingly valuable and well-rewarded in the workplace, this book provides English teachers with subject-specific strategies to integrate AI into their classrooms. It demonstrates how AI can augment, rather than replace, the core human skills that English curricula emphasise. Teachers will discover innovative ways to use AI to support students' development, from creative writing and critical analysis to communication and digital literacy.

Blending practical application with a clear vision of human-centred design, this essential book equips English teachers with the knowledge, skills and strategies they need to thrive in the age of AI.
