In a world increasingly focused on natural, plant-based wellness, polyphenols – potent antioxidant compounds derived from foods, fruits, herbs, and medicinal plants – are transforming the landscape of modern healthcare and nutrition. This comprehensive volume presents a rich, evidence-based exploration into the science and application of polyphenols in the nutraceutical industry.

Bridging the divide between phytochemical foundations and practical innovation, this book offers in-depth insights into:

  • The chemistry, biosynthesis, and structural diversity of polyphenols
  • Antioxidant mechanisms and cellular pathway modulation
  • Therapeutic roles in combating chronic diseases and oxidative stress
  • Pharmacokinetics, bioavailability, and regulatory standards
  • Green extraction methods and formulation technologies
  • Sustainable sourcing and ethical practices in product development
  • The polyphenol market and its prospects

With contributions from experts in the fields of botany, chemistry, biotechnology, pharmaceutical sciences, and functional food research, this book serves as a critical resource for researchers and scholars, students and educators, healthcare professionals, entrepreneurs, and product developers.
