The book will guide the reader through the interesting and useful aspects of cyanobacteria metabolism but will keep true to a biotechnology vision. Chapters will explain biological phenomenon concisely, with some brief history and landmark findings. Then, focus should shift to salient examples of how this metabolic "module" is being engineered or could be engineered in the future. Importantly, I want chapters to list or describe future objectives that must be reached in a future industrial application (when appropriate).
