Originally for cello and piano the Duo Concertante dates from 1865. The Duo is a substantial eight minute long concert piece with a slow introduction and fast allegro, It uses the full range of the instrument from bottom E to harmonic to G a great piece for auditions and festivals and a good finisher for recitals, The Duo is a first for Fourbass music as it is available with both orchestral and solo tuning piano parts at no extra cost.
