El Toro Amoroso (‘The Amorous Bull’) dances about cheerfully in this frivolous Spanish-influenced piece. It was specially written for the summer camp of the ‘Banda Pare Manyanet de Reus’ (Spain). At this camp, beginner and intermediate level young musicians form a band together. Accordingly, the piece is playable for beginners while still offering an adequate challenge in all parts. Its Spanish rhythms provide a particular zest!
