Shakil Butt, based in Birmingham UK, is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and the former HR director of an international relief and development charity working in 40 countries globally. He was an EDI consultant with the Green Park Diversity, Inclusion, Culture and Ethics team, where he worked with leaders in large complex organisations. As a freelancer, Shakil has designed and delivered EDI training as well as designing EDI qualifications. He is a visiting lecturer at Birmingham City University, teaches on the CIPD foundation level course to early career HR professionals and has been recognized by HR Magazine as 'HR's Most Influential' five times.
