Nanotheranostics is a growing field that describes the use of nanotechnology for diagnostic and therapeutic applications. This book reviews the recent advancements in nanotheranostics in modernday healthcare. It also covers the sensory and bioimaging properties of nanotheranostics in the therapy of numerous diseases including cancers.

Nanotheranostics: Advances in Biomedical Applications describes the general preparatory methods of nanocarriers for theranostic purposes, alongside their applications in various fields. It discusses advancements in the field of nanomedicine that empower the synthesis of polymeric as well as inorganic nanomaterials for theranostic purposes. This book demonstrates two of the most commonly employed biopolymers in the fabrication of theranostic nanocarriers, chitosan, and hyaluronic acid. The content also focuses on various biopolymers that are employed in developing nanotheranostics. Alongside this, it also describes smart polymeric materials and inorganic nanomaterials for synthesizing theranostic nanocarriers and their respective applications. This book also covers the evaluation parameters of theranostic nanomaterials and showcases applications in the fields of biomedical engineering, cancer therapy, bioimaging, and biosensors.

This book is expected to be useful for students, researchers, and professionals working in the field of biomedical engineering, nanotheranostics, and nanomaterials.
