Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart wrote many sonatas for the piano and violin. His Sonata in E minor, K. 304 (300c), was composed in 1778. It is one of his six "sonatas with obbligato violin" that differ from the preceding "piano sonatas with violinaccompaniment" by allowing the violin and piano to conduct a dialogue on equal terms.1-4 Allegro5-8 Tempo di Menuetto
