The Schofield & Sims Non-verbal Reasoning Rapid Tests are short, timed tests designed to build speed and fluency in preparation for the 11+ and other school selection tests. Written by an experienced tutor, the tests cover a wide range of topics, ensuring that children have the skills and knowledge to succeed in any of the major providers' tests - including CEM and GL. Each book contains 18 double-page, multiple choice tests on topics including recognising similarities and differences; identifying reflected and hidden shapes; and completing series. The target times for the tests range from 5 to 8 minutes, making them ideal for regular independent work sessions. Aimed at children aged 8 to 9 years, Non-verbal Reasoning Rapid Tests Book 3 features a `Progress chart' for recording scores and tracking improvement, and a separate pull-out answer booklet with explanations and `Action notes' for all tests.
