Twenty full papers and ten short papers from the June 2006 conference present recent research on shape matching and retrieval, modeling with implicit surfaces, and various issues of shape analysis, representation, and processing. The contributors evaluate mesh segmentation algorithms, propose a method for finding distinctive features of a shape, deform piecewise linear 3D curves with constant length constraint, and develop degree reduction strategies for NURBS symbolic computation on curves.
