Above, Beyond, Sing On! is a joyful and expressive setting of the composer's own text, inspired by geographical features of Newfoundland. Wong employs gentle phrases, nimble rhythmical patterns, and a soaring solo descant to honor the bonds created between members of choral communities, going above and beyond boundaries of time and space.
