What had been a conference since the early 1990s grew into a congress in 2012, sprouting 23 symposia and four volumes of proceedings to handle 534 selected papers. This second volume presents 137 papers selected from symposia on biomaterials, functional crystal materials, multi-ferroic materials, supercomputer materials and applications, nano and ultra-fine materials, advanced ceramic materials, and amorphous alloy and high entropy materials.
