The combined effect of chewing tobacco (areca quid chewing), drinking alcohol, and smoking greatly increases the risk of Oral Precancerous Disorders in oral cavities. In developing countries of South East Asia, Indian people develop more oral precancerous disorders such as Leukoplakia, Erythroplakia, Oral submucous fibrosis, and Verrucous lesions compared to many other developed countries.
