The world-renowned Lopresto car collection has won over 180 international awards—40 of which were voted Best in Show—and its founder, Corrado Lopresto, has secured his reputation as an automobile tastemaker, having influenced contemporary auto design trends for decades. Best in Show offers a history of Italian car design and engineering through 20 of its single-specimen or limited-edition models, including the Isotta Fraschini Tipo 1902 (1901), Lancia Alfa 12hp Miller (1908), Alfa Romeo 6C 2500 Sport Touring (1939), Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider Bertone (1955), Lancia Flaminia Speciale Pininfarina (1963) and Autobianchi A112 Giovani Pininfarina (1973). Each car is displayed through hi-resolution studio images and accompanied by a brief description of its history and features. The book also features an interview with Lopresto, who reveals the origins of his storied collection, as well as additional photographs of the cars gracing Concours d' Elegance worldwide.
