This book is not merely a study of Leonardo; it is an invitation to awaken the latent potential within us, inspired by a soul that deeply revered and explored the full breadth of his humanity and creativity. It urges us to confront the vast, uncharted opportunities that lie ahead with courage and openness.

We are on the cusp of a transformation era in technology, one that challenges long-held paradigms. Avio offers a glimpse into how Leonardo navigated the boundless possibilities of his own time-the Renaissance-a period marked by unprecedented innovation and discovery. His story encourages us to welcome change not with trepidation but as a fertile ground for creativity, enabling us to release outdated ideas and embrace the new with a sense of wonder and playfulness.

When Avio graciously asked me to read this book, I found myself and imaginative future. Sometimes, we need gentle reminders of who we truly are. For this, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to both Avio and, of course, the incomparable Leonardo.

Leonardo da Vinci continues to inspire us today and in the future. Avio's book and its accompanying website show how da Vinci's greatest mind stimulated him to create feasible technological concepts that will bring far-reaching value to our lives. It's also a good reference for gaining wisdom.

The Next One Hundred Years
In Spanish, my name, Avio, translates as 'provisions for a journey'. In Italian, it means 'an aircraft'. Both are relevant. , I hope to be taking you on a journey through this book as I share with you my passion for the life and achievements of Leonardo Da Vinci. I hope that these provisions, provide satisfying food for your questioning mind, and also a means of rising above conventional thinking.

It has been very inspirational for me to have spent the last 45 years literally following in Leonardo's footsteps by living in Tuscany, the land of his birth, an origin he shared with many of the other 'old masters'. Growing up in an artistic and musical family, I was very aware of his legacy and achievements. He appeared almost superhuman by the sheer volume of his work in so many different subjects. This fascinated me from an early age.

Since his death over 500 years ago, I do not believe there has been anybody who has come anywhere near to matching his talents and achievements. The question is, 'why?' By looking back at his life, I have tried to answer that in this book, and to learn more about his philosophy on Life. By understands what made him tick, we can apply these principles to the complex lives we lead today and better understand what tomorrow will bring.
