Jane Holcombe, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, MCT, MCSE, CNA, CompTIA CTT+, is a pioneer in the field of PC training. She co-founded a Minnesota training company and has trained technical support personnel nationally for more than 20 years. Jane is a past president of the Twin Cities PC User Group and the coauthor of Survey of Operating Systems and other books.





Charles Holcombe has been an independent trainer and consultant for more than 25 years. He has developed and delivered many training courses in addition to authoring or coauthoring several books, including Survey of Operating Systems.





James Pyles, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, works as a consultant, author, editor, and technical writer. He has written numerous books and articles on IT certifications and has been a contributor to Linux Pro Magazine and Ubuntu User Magazine. James currently works at Keynetics, Inc.





Michael Pastore, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, MCP, has been writing computer books for more than 15 years and has been involved in IT for more than 30 years in roles spanning from network technician to president of an IT training school.
