Quoc-Nam Tran is a Full Professor of Computer Science at Lamar (Texas State) University. He is the author/editor of four books and 55 publications in journals and proceedings of international conferences. Dr Tran is a specialist in using computational and data mining techniques for bioinformatics. He is also the recipient of nine research grants including three from the National Science Foundation of the US.
