Writing is Donas passion, but she also loves reading, live theater, and handmade arts and crafts, with many artists and creatives in all mediums among her extended family. Dona was a preschool and middle school teacher and is an acting coach for all ages. She lives in southern California with her husband, son, and one cute, silly, and loveable little dog.
" Hazel Quintanilla always knew she wanted to be an artist. As a kid, she used to draw on her school notebooks, especially her math notebook. Hazel hasillustrated over a hundred childrens books published in the US and worldwide, as well as magazines and games. Hazel loves animals (especially dogs), comfy clothes, and colorful shoes. She finds most of her inspiration in people she knows and in nature. Her favorite things to draw are children and animals.She lives in California.
