Matt Beames Bio Matt Beames is a writer based in the Southampton area. He loves stories of all kinds and has been writing and telling his own since childhood. His work is often inspired by and draws on folklore and mythology from around the world. Matt writes for the theatre as well as long and short fiction, poetry and comics. His writing for theatre includes more than ten plays and adaptations that have been performed in professional and youth theatre productions in the UK and even as far as Seattle, USA. Aurora Metro has also published Matt's adaptations of Sleeping Beauty (2017), Cinderella (2018) and Tales of Merlin (2019), and his other recent projects include adaptations of Jules Verne's Journey to the Centre of the Earth and SLEUTH with ZoieLogic Dance Theatre. Hannah Torrance Bio Hannah Torrance is a writer based in Leicester who loves to explore the dark truths in us all through rich and visceral storytelling. Graduate of the Graeae Write to Play programme, Hannah writes primarily for rural touring, having had work produced across the UK, as well as writing for young companies. Credits include Roulette (Attenborough Arts Centre, 2016), SHE (Midlands tour 2017 and The White Bear Theatre 2018), The Nutcracker and the Mouse King (The Point Theatre, 2018), Inside (Vaults Festival, 2019) and as a regular writer for 14/48 Theatre Festival.
