This book is the first authoritative and comprehensive volume dedicated to modern concepts in the treatment of diseases due to injection of modeling substances. It provides an up-to-date and highly illustrated work of the epidemiology, physiopathology, imaging features; clinical, social, and legal implications of diseases due to injection of modeling substances. In addition, this volume discusses the world history of the injection of illegal modeling substances, their physiopathology, clinical implications, how to manage the affected patients, and legal and social aspects.

Modern Concepts in Treating Diseases Due to Injection of Modeling Substances is an essential resource for physicians, plastic surgeons, mastologist, gynecologists, immunologists, residents, fellows, and physicians in primary care, health promotion, and disease prevention.
