'Susie is one of a kind. Her resilience, determination and brilliance have broken down barriers and made her the inspiration she is today. Susie's story is a powerful one for anyone hoping to understand what it takes to succeed against the odds, while staying true to yourself.' - LEWIS HAMILTON

A Sunday Times bestselling inside look at the ultra-competitive world of Formula One and trailblazer Susie Wolff's 20-year career, taking readers from the driver's seat and the F1 paddock all the way to the future of the sport.

From the moment her parents first sat her in a go-kart, Susie Wolff felt it - the thrill of speed, the spark of something bigger. Her dream of one day racing Formula One cars grew and grew, as did her determination. But Formula One is one of the most mentally and physically gruelling sports in the world. Turning a corner can feel like four times your body weight is pressing against you. You need mental grit and physical heft. And as Susie rose through the ranks of motorsport, one truth became impossible to ignore: she was almost always the only woman on the grid.

Despite challenges, and after years of sacrifice and doubt, Susie became the first woman in more than two decades to take part in a Formula One race weekend. When her racing chapter ended, she realised she wasn't ready to walk away from the sport she loved. And so she turned her mind to first transforming a struggling Formula E team and, later, leading F1 Academy, inspiring young women who have discovered the thrill of speed via Netflix's Drive to Survive, to progress to the highest ranks of Formula 1.

In Driven, Susie lifts the bonnet for the first time on her extraordinary life, including her relationship with her husband Toto. From the driver's seat of the racing car to the heart of the F1 paddock, this is a rare, first-hand view into the inner workings of motorsport at its highest level, told with clarity and grace.

Arvustused

Susie Wolff is a former professional racing driver and one of the most respected women in motorsport. She began her career in karting with a dream of one day making it to F1. After racing at the highest levels across Europe, she made history in 2014 by becoming the first woman in over two decades to take part in a Formula 1 race weekend.

After hanging up her helmet, Susie brought the same drive to the business side of the sport, leading a Formula E team from the back of the grid to World Championship contenders. In 2023, she became Managing Director of F1 Academy - an all-female series backed by F1 to develop the next generation of female talent and prove that motorsport is no longer just a man's world.

Susie has been widely recognised for breaking down barriers and was awarded an MBE for her contribution to women in sport in 2017.
