WEIN06isconcernedwithemergenceofintelligentbe- viorsovernetworkedagents andfosteringtheformationofanactivemul- disciplinarycommunityonmulti-agentsystemsandcomplexnetworks. We especiallyintendedtoincreasetheawarenessofresearchersinthesetwo elds sharingthecommonviewoncombiningagent-basedmodelingandcomplex networksinordertodevelopinsightandfosterpredictivemethodologiesin studyingemergentintelligenceonofnetworkedagents. Weinvitedhighqualityc- tributionsonawidevarietyoftopicsrelevanttothewideresearchareasof multi-agentnetworkdynamics. Wecouldsolicitmanyhighqualitypapersthatre ecttheresultofthe growingrecognitionoftheimportanceoftheareas. Allpapershavereceived a careful and supportive review, and we selected 19 papers out of 31 - pers. Thecontributionsweresubmittedasafullpaperandreviewedbysenior researchers from the program committee. All authors revised their earlier versionspresentedattheworkshopwithre ectingcriticismsandcomments receivedattheworkshop.
