This book traces the evolution of language teaching from its classical roots to the contemporary, technology-driven classroom. Drawing on key theoretical, pedagogical, and global perspectives, the book examines how methods such as Communicative Language Teaching, Task-Based Learning, and Content and Language Integrated Learning have shaped modern practice. It also explores the transformative role of digital innovation, artificial intelligence, and globalization in redefining language education today.Written for educators, researchers, curriculum designers, and teacher trainers, this volume offers both historical insight and forward-looking analysis. While grounded in global perspectives, it pays particular attention to emerging multilingual contexts. Combining critical reflection with practical direction, the book serves as a comprehensive resource for understanding how English language teaching continues to adapt to new educational paradigms, technologies, and the diverse needs of learners worldwide.
