Dr. Gurbhej Singh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Amritsar Group of Colleges, Punjab, India. Dr. Singh earned his Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering from CT University Ludhiana, Punjab, India. He specializes in surface engineering with a focus on microwave claddings, processing of materials using microwave energy, materials characterization, surface biomedical implants, biomaterials processing, polymeric composites, and nanocomposites. He has published more than 30 Papers out of which 18 are SCI indexed papers. He was recently honored with the Top Cited Paper Awards India 2022 in the review category. Additionally, he has contributed to numerous conference papers and book chapters. Dr. Singh is actively involved in the research community, serving as a reviewer for research articles. He has over ten years of teaching experience and has guided many M-Tech Students. Dr. Singh is Guest Editor of many journals, Dr. Singh has been granted a patent titled Minimum quantity lubrication device for machining operations.

Dr. Hitesh Vasudev is a Professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering, Lovely Professional University, Phagwara, Punjab, India. He received his Ph.D. degree from Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana, India. His research areas include Surface Engineering/Thermal Spraying; development of Nano- structured, Multi-modal, High entropy alloys coatings for high temperature oxidation and corrosion resistance; Thermal Barrier Coatings (TBCs); and Microwave processing of materials. Dr. Vasudev has contributed extensively in thermal spray coatings in repute journals which include Surface coatings and Technology; Materials Today Communications; Engineering Failure Analysis; Journal of Cleaner Production, among others. He won the Research Excellence Award-2019, 2020, 2021, and 2023 at Lovely Professional University. He has written 40+ SCI indexed papers, 100 Scopus Indexed papers, 15 conference papers, 18 book chapters, and 5 books. Dr. Vasudev has been granted a patent titled High-Temperature Oxidation and Erosion Resistant Alloy-718/Al2O3 Composite Coatings.
