Flying radio-controlled model aircraft is one of the most enjoyable and absorbing hobbies that there is. It combines the fun of building and maintaining a real miniature aircraft with the challenge of flying it just like the real thing, and keeping the appropriate distance between the aircraft and the ground at all times! But the early stages of the hobby can be a steep learning curve, and it is all too easy to be put off by early mishaps.
