The book develops new methodologies to unravel the mathematics of nonlinear dynamics using simple trigonometry. It offers a complete tutorial for neophytes, as well as experts, in nonlinear dynamics, as it examines, using an original and simple approach, the fundamental example of Chaos, the Lorenz-Haken equations, with high order trigonometry. The book will appeal to physicists, mathematicians, and graduate and undergraduate students alike.
Belkacem Meziane received his MSEE in Quantum Electronics from the Florida Institute of Technology, USA, in 1978, and his doctorate and "Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches" in Laser Dynamics from Université de Rennes I, France, in 1992 and 1996 respectively. From 1979 to 1990, he was a Lecturer at the Physics Department of Algiers University, Algeria, and he is currently a tenured Professor at the Faculty of Sciences of Université d'Artois, France. He is the author of more than 30 published papers, including two book chapters on laser light dynamics.
