After losing his sword in a deadly battle against Zeno Grable, Beryl reunites with his former apprentice, Baldur, who has become a blacksmith. Baldur was asked by Serena to forge a new sword for Beryl from the felled beast’s talons, and while Beryl initially declines the offer, he is moved by Baldur's enthusiasm and decides to accept the sword. Then, a pickpocket girl appears in town and targets Beryl!
