The Bible refers to many gifts from Heaven. These are material gifts, gifts of family and friendship, talents, and spiritual gifts. John 3:27 reads; “A man can receive nothing except it be given him from Heaven.” You will notice the word receive in the text above; receiving in this text is an acceptance of a gift, accepting a gift from the Father in Heaven.
