This book vividly captures China's remarkable achievements in the research and development of marine research vessels. Beginning with an exploration of research vessels, the book delves into the structural characteristics, developmental milestones, key technologies, and socio-economic significance of these vessels from multiple perspectives. Meanwhile, it also showcases the complete development panorama of China's research vessels, from single types to full series, and from full series to a complete spectrum. In doing so, it highlights the patriotic dedication and relentless spirit of New China’s shipbuilders.
