VENETIA DEAN studied for an Art and Design degree at Leeds University where she experimented for a while in ceramics and photography before deciding that illustration was her calling. She lives in Leeds with her husband, two children and two dogs (a Spaniel and a Labrador) - she says there's never a dull moment in her house!
