Islam Mohammad Shehata, MD is a lecturer in anesthesia department of Ain Shams university in Cairo, Egypt. He was born in Kom Hamada; Al-Buhira governorate, Cairo, Egypt. He obtained his bachelors degree, Master and doctoral degree of anesthesiology from Ain Shams university. He then got a visiting scholarship in cardiac anesthesia from Wexner medical center in Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio state, USA.



He is involved in research with medical students, residents, and fellows at Modern university for information and technology university in Cairo, Egypt. Furthermore, he is an associate editor in anesthesiology section of annals of medicine journal.



 He currently has 5 book chapters and 28 google scholar indexed research article publications 18 as first author and 2 as last author. He also has 36 web of science indexed peer reviews.



 



Omar Viswanath, MD is a Harvard-trained, double board-certified anesthesiologist and interventional pain medicine physician. He works as a private practice pain physician in Scottsdale, Arizona, and is a clinical professor of anesthesiology at Creighton University School of Medicine in Phoenix, Arizona, and at LSU Health Sciences School of Medicine in Shreveport, Louisiana. He has over 450 PubMed-Indexed publications, has written several book chapters, and is the co-Editor of the Cambridge Handbook of Pain Medicine.
