A reassuring picture book in a new series about feelings for young children.
This die-cut picture book uses playful, lyrical text to reassure young children that it's perfectly OK to feel shy sometimes.
Featuring a young child and their dinosaur friend, the story explores ways to deal with shyness - by talking about it with others, sharing experiences and gradually increasing social interaction to improve confidence.
There's also a die-cut shape running all the way through the book from the cover, to help readers visualise the feeling getting smaller and smaller as the story progresses.
With bright illustrations by Charlie Alder, and written by Haia Ironside and Dr Leslie Ironside, this is the perfect introduction to feeling shy for young children.
