Michael Deng (BSc Tianjin University, MBA NUS)

Michael is a veteran business executive with more than 20 years of sales management experience across the Asia Pacific region, with a special focus on the manufacturing, power & utility, smart city and infrastructure markets. Over his long career, Michael led business development, sales and general management for many renowned multi-national corporations, including General Electric, Oracle, Invensys, Sybase, and Autodesk.

As the pioneer of digital business for Asia, Michael has overseen numerous major commercialised projects, that draw on his extensive combined OT and IT experience. He also leads smart infrastructure projects with regional governments and major industrial organizations. His deep understanding of industry eco-systems and market trends throughout Asia, allows Michael to guide businesses and governments along their digital transformation journeys.

Michael is an IEEE and Power & Energy Society member, as well as a Singapore Industry Automation Association council member, widely involved in driving industry 4.0 initiatives across Asia-Pacific as a whole. He graduated from Tianjin University in 1994, with a computer engineering & science degree, then achieved an MBA from the National University of Singapore in 1999.


Colin Koh (BBA, RMIT)

Colin has more than 30 years of experience pioneering the latest technology within the ASEAN region, involved in the Industrial IoT/M2M, automation, 3D printing, connectivity, energy & environmental business since the mid-'80s. Colin provides mentorship and advisory services to the industry, especially focused on regional SMEs implementing digital transformation in line with the emerging Industry 4.0 concepts. He is a certified IoT specialist of Global Science & Technology Forum (GSTF) and an MIT Sloan Scholl of Management Executive program in Artificial Intelligence and IoT.

Colin held the role of President of the Singapore Industrial Automation Association from 2001-2005 and was Vice-Chair of Industry Committee of Energy Efficiency (ICEE) under the SEAS, sub-committee under the National Climate Change Committee in Singapore. He is also a member of ISA, the Singapore Water Association (SWA), and a former committee member of IoT Asia Conference and Exhibition. A true industry leader for the ASEAN region.

Colin is a technology evangelist and driving force of Industry 4.0 in the ASEAN bloc. Delivering dozens of insightful industry papers and powerful speeches in the key regional conferences and business forums. Member of Advisory Committee of Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s electrical engineering department, Colin is helping guide the future of technological development and the next generation of technologists in the region.
