Isaac is a talented yet impoverished eighteenth century artist desperately in love. He runs into a rich Captain who is taken by his abilities and offers him a handsome sum to come along on his voyages. However, it turns out he is no Captain - but a rogue Pirate, so that Isaac's plan to make some quick money and return to marry his love, is taken over by a series of hilarious and dark adventures at sea with no foreseeable end.
