Thomas Borgmann approaches collecting art as an explorer, and has a sharp eye for innovative art. With his collection Borgmann time and again made a "jump into the future", discovering extraordinary work by a fresh generation of artists, including Cosima von Bonin, Lucy McKenzie and Wolfgang Tillmans.Recently, Borgmann donated a large numbers of works from his collection to the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam.The Borgmann works reflect the breadth and diversity of contemporary art produced throughout the 1990s and early 2000s.
