Callixte Nizigama is professional translator and interpreter specializing in Kirundi, Kinyarwanda, French and English. He holds a B.A. in English Linguistics from National University of Burundi and an M.A. in Gender Studies from Universite Lumiere de Bujumbura and Universite Catholique de Louvain. He resides in Burundi. Aquilina Mawadza has held lectureship and adjunct faculty positions at the University of the Western Cape, the University of Zimbabwe and Howard University. She holds a PhD degree in Media & Migration Studies and an M.A in Languages and Communication from the University of Florida, where she also taught Shona. She is the author of Beginners Shona with 2 Audio CDs, also by Hippocrene Books. She resides in Cape Town, South Africa.
