Lo grew up surrounded by puppets, props and craft paraphernalia because his writer-dad and illustrator-mum created childrens TV for the BBC. At university Lo was thrown off his illustration course, but when he started working, his illustration was constantly in demand, appearing regularly in The Guardian and the Economist. Gloucestershire-based Lo's lifelong love of childrens books have now led to his unforgettable animal characters being published around the world.
