Stephanie Grafin Bruges-von Pfuel, born in Munich in 1961, comes from a long-established noble family. After earning her degree in engineering, she took over the management of Tussling Castle and its estates following her father's passing.

She led extensive renovations and established the castle as a cultural venue. In addition to publishing books on interior design and hospitality, she has worked as a model, appeared on television as a presenter and guest, and is dedicated to helping children. In 2014, she became Tussling's first female mayor. For her broad commitment to politics, culture, and society, she received the Federal Cross of Merit (2011) and the Bavarian Order of Merit (2016).
