When Cinder, the little black cat, runs away from a huge red "monster," she's lonely, far from home, and wondering if her new neighbors will ever be her friends
The wailing sirens and flashing lights of the big red fire truck terrifies Cinder, a little black kitten, and causes her to hide for cover inside a delivery van. When she is finally ablse to escape, she finds herself in a neighborhood far from home. The local cats aren't at all friendly, but Cinder perseveres, quietly following the bigger, braver cats at a safe distance and eventually winning the other cats' friendship and protection.
