Raden Sjarief Widjaja is a Professor at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, with a Ph.D. from University of Strathclyde. He served as Vice Rector of ITS and held leadership roles at the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries. Internationally active, he contributed to Coral Triangle Initiative on Coral Reefs, Fisheries, and Food Security (CTI-CFF), the Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center, the FAO Committee on Fisheries 33rd Session (FAO-COFI), and the High-Level Panel for Sustainable Ocean Economy. He is also a consultant and Head of Naval Architecture Board at the Indonesian Engineers Association. Yuda Apri Hermawan is an Assistant Professor at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), with a PhD. from Kyushu University. His research focuses on marine dynamics, ship digitalization, and autonomous vessels. He leads the Digital Ship Technology Lab and manages international collaborations. He has published in international journals, led funded projects, and consults for major Indonesian companies in the naval and marine engineering fields.
Hasanudin is an Assistant Professor at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember with PhD in Naval Architecture. His research focuses on ship stability, AI applications in maritime, and ship design. He has led projects funded by HETI and collaborated with government and private sectors. Since 2011, he has assisted the Indonesian National Transportation Safety Committee (KNKT) in maritime accident investigations, contributing significantly to ship safety and innovation in Indonesia.
Azman Ismail is Associate Professor at Malaysian Institute of Marine Engineering Technology, Universiti Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He received his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS and master of engineering in mechanical-marine technology from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. Prior to that, he was awarded a bachelor of engineering (hons) in electrical, electronics and system from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, and graduate diploma in industrial education and training from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia. He grooms his technical skill at Victoria University of Technology, Australia, for advanced diploma in construction and repair technology (marine vessels). He is also active in research and development for welding and joining technologies especially for friction stir welding on tubular sections and flat panels. This also includes green technologies for sustainable marine and coastal development. He has published his research findings in indexed journals and book chapters.
Fatin Nur Zulkipli is Lecturer in information management at the Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Machang Kelantan, Malaysia. She received her both bachelors and masters degree in records and documents management in UiTM Puncak Perdana, Selangor Malaysia. So far, she has published several papers in high indexed journals as the main author and actively participates in innovation projects. She won a gold medal for both competition at the Nuclear Innovation Award organized by the Malaysian Nuclear Agency in 2021 and ALive Business Model Canvas at the International Competition of Entrepreneurship Business Innovation (iCEBIV) in 2022, respectively. She is actively involved in research related to health information management systems and records management especially on the adoption of mobile health records management implementation with legal compliance. Currently, she is at the final stage of her Ph.D. in information management at UiTM Puncak Perdana, Shah Alam Selangor, Malaysia.
Andreas Öchsner is Full Professor of Lightweight Design and Structural Simulation at Esslingen University, Germany. After completing his Dipl.-Ing. degree in Aeronautical Engineering at the University of Stuttgart, he served as an Assistant at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg from 1997 to 2003 while pursuing his Doctor degree. From 2003 to 2006, he was Assist. Prof. at the University of Aveiro, Portugal. He spent seven years (20072013) as Full Professor at the Technical University of Malaysia. From 2014 to 2017, he was Full Professor at the School of Engineering, Griffith University, Australia, and Leader of the Mechanical Engineering Program.
