Max is going for a haircut but Wendys Hairdressing Salon is too bright and noisy. He doesnt like the cold water spray, the too-tight cloth round his shoulders or the spiky hair clips.
Its all just too much for Max and he shouts, STOP! But Wendy has a wonderful idea. Maybe a cat, a soft cushion and some bubbles could make a haircut fun after all?
This beautiful, sensitively told story is perfect for any child anxious about having their hair cut.

"A little boy needs a haircut, but when he struggles with the temperature of the water and the spiky hair clips, his hairdresser has to think of a new way to get the job done. A reassuring, sensitively told story that will ring true for children who, like Max, do not like going to the salon." * The Bookseller *
